2. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is transmitted to the IONOS servers. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

3. Server log files

When you access our website, the web server automatically records information transmitted by your browser:

• IP address (truncated or anonymised after a short time)
• date and time of the request
• URL requested and response code
• volume of data transferred
• referrer URL and user agent (browser type and version)

Purpose: ensuring trouble-free operation, error analysis, protection against attacks.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the security and functioning of our website).
Storage period: 7 days, after which the log files are automatically deleted or anonymised.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.

5. Contacting us

5.1 Contact form

If you send us a message through the contact form, we process the data you provide (name, company if given, e-mail address, phone number if given and your message) in order to answer your enquiry. Transmission is encrypted (TLS).

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or performance of a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent given via the checkbox on the form).
Storage period: the data is deleted as soon as your enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The data is not stored in a database — the form forwards your enquiry to our team by e-mail only.

5.2 Spam protection

To prevent spam submissions we use technical measures that work without cookies and without external service providers (honeypot and time-trap methods). No additional personal data is collected.

5.3 Contact by e-mail or phone

You are of course welcome to contact us directly by e-mail (info@kraissundfriz.de, bestellung@kraissundfriz.de) or by phone. Data transmitted in this way is used solely to deal with your request.

6. Job applications

If you apply for an advertised position or send us a speculative application, we process your application documents solely for the application procedure.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR in conjunction with section 26 (1) BDSG (establishment of an employment relationship).
Storage period: if your application is unsuccessful, we delete your documents no later than six months after the end of the procedure, unless you have consented to longer retention in our applicant pool.

7. Cookies and local storage

This website sets no tracking cookies and no third-party cookies. Technically necessary cookies are used only where they are indispensable for a particular function.

Legal basis for technically necessary cookies: section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Should we use cookies or third-party services that are not strictly necessary in future, we will obtain your consent in advance pursuant to section 25 (1) TDDDG.

8. Fonts (Open Sans, self-hosted)

We use the Open Sans typeface. The font files are loaded exclusively from our own server. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) takes place.

9. Maps and route planning

We do not embed any map services in our pages.

On the location pages you will find directions buttons. These open an external map and routing service (Google Maps) in a new tab only after you click them. No connection to Google is established beforehand. After the click, the privacy terms of the respective provider apply.

10. Recipients of the data

As a rule, personal data is not passed on to third parties. Recipients are exclusively:

• our hosting provider IONOS SE, as a processor,
• where applicable, tax advisers, lawyers or public authorities, in so far as this is legally permitted or required.

No transfer to third countries (outside the EU/EEA) takes place.

11. Your rights

You have the right:

• to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
• to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• to erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
• to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR),
• to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• to withdraw consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

12. Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or our data processing changes. The version current at the time of processing applies; it is available at /en/privacy/.
